Privacy Policy

This policy explains how Patty's Event Rentals, LLC ("we," "us") handles personal information when you visit pattyseventrentals.com or contact us about a rental. We're a small, locally owned business in Pennsylvania, and we only collect what we need to answer your questions and serve your event.
Information we collect
When you ask us for a quote by text, phone, email or an Instagram message, you may give us:
- Your full name, email address and phone number
- Your event date and event type
- The delivery or event venue address
- The rental items and estimated quantities you need
- Whether you need setup
- Optional details such as your guest count, delivery or pickup preference, setup surface and how you heard about us
- Whether it's okay to text you about your quote
- Any other details you choose to share about your event
If you book with us, we also keep the records that go with a rental, such as your rental agreement, invoices and payment records.
When you visit the website, our hosting and security provider processes standard technical information, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested, so the site can load and stay protected from abuse.
How we use it
- To respond to your inquiry and prepare your quote
- To plan, deliver, set up and pick up your rental, or arrange your pickup
- To send your rental agreement, invoices and booking details
- To send you occasional news, specials and availability updates about our rentals, as described below
- To understand how visitors use the website so we can improve it
- To keep the website secure and working
- To meet our legal, tax and accounting obligations
We don't sell your personal information.
Text messages
Texting is optional, and there are two separate choices. Agreeing to either one is not a condition of getting a quote or renting from us, and we can always use email instead.
- Quote and booking texts. If you text us first, or ask us to text you, we'll text you about your quote and your booking.
- Marketing texts. We only send occasional texts about specials and availability if you've separately given us your express written consent to receive them. Texting us about a quote doesn't count as that consent, and we never assume it.
- Message frequency varies. Quote and booking texts depend on your inquiry, and marketing texts are occasional.
- Msg & data rates may apply.
- Reply STOP at any time to stop receiving texts, or tell us another way. We'll confirm and stop texting you.

No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging opt-in data and consent are never shared with third parties. Wireless carriers aren't liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
We use email to answer your questions and send quotes, rental agreements and booking details. We may also send occasional marketing emails about our rentals to customers and people who have asked us for a quote. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and you can ask us to stop at any time. We don't share your email address with others for their marketing.
Website hosting
The website is hosted on Cloudflare, which processes the technical information described above to deliver pages and protect the site. The website has no forms, so it doesn't collect anything you type. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.
Cookies and analytics
We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand how the website is used, such as which pages are visited, referring websites, browser and device type, country and how quickly pages load. It doesn't use cookies or local storage and doesn't track you across other websites. We don't use advertising or tracking cookies. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary security technologies to protect the site.
Who we share information with
We only share personal information:
- With service providers that help us run the business, such as Cloudflare (website hosting, security and analytics) and our email and phone providers, only so they can provide those services
- When the law requires it, or to protect our rights and safety
Links to other sites, such as Google and Instagram, are covered by those companies' own privacy policies.
How long we keep it
We keep your messages, quote details and contact details for as long as we need them to respond to you and handle your event. We also keep your contact details to send you marketing as described above, until you unsubscribe or ask us to stop. If you book, we keep rental and payment records for as long as we need them for our business, tax and legal obligations. When we no longer need information, we delete it.
How we protect it
We use reasonable safeguards to protect your information. No website or email system is perfectly secure. If a breach ever affects your personal information, we'll notify you as Pennsylvania law requires.
Your choices
You can opt out of marketing texts by replying STOP, and out of marketing emails with the unsubscribe link. You can also ask us to access, correct or delete your personal information, or to stop contacting you, by emailing info@pattyseventrentals.com. We may need to keep some records when the law requires it.
Children
Our website and services are meant for adults planning events. We don't knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we'll post the updated version here with a new effective date.
